"Home Inspection Experts" Today, the Canadian based home inspection company “Home-Alyze” celebrated 25 years of business operations in Canada. What started as a local Calgary based business, Home-Alyze has developed into 18 franchise operations across Canada (since beginning franchising in 1999) and forecasts strong growth into the Ontario and Eastern Canadian markets. In August of 1978, the establishment of the home inspection company “Home-Alyze” was inspired by a news documentary about a young couple who faced financial ruin as a result of purchasing a home riddled with problems. Company Founder and President Peter Salmon viewed the documentary and realized that with his knowledge of construction, he could have helped this couple and potentially many others. Home-Alyze was founded that day and since then has grown the reputation as the “Home Inspection Experts” by acting as a consumer advocate for home buyers across Canada. “A home is often one of the largest financial investments people will make and a home inspection can provide safety, security and peace of mind” said Peter Salmon. “As we have grown across Western Canada and beyond, we have developed a home inspection process which takes into consideration regional climate conditions and building practices. Home-Alyze provides a tailored report for our costumers, which is unique to the industry,” continued Peter Salmon. The new home construction sector is predicted to boom in the foreseeable future, so is the home inspection industry with an estimated 40-50% of all homes being inspected. “As consumers are becoming more aware of the home inspection service, we see continued growth well into the future especially in the Ontario and Eastern Canadian markets.
